Professional Bio

Sri. Vishnu Manchu is the Chief Executive Officer of the Trust, and is the Chairman and founder of New York Academy, Springboard educational trust which runs preschools and schools. He is a technocrat, an accomplished cine artiste and a film hero. He started a production house ‘24 Frames Factory’ in 2007 and also heads ‘Think Smart’, which provides pre-production, production and post-production services of the highest standards to various production houses in the country.

His training in the USA on new developments in education helped him to realize the significance of the integration of technology and multimedia Mohan Babu University with teaching and learning methods. He initiated the implementation of these methods successfully in the schools and colleges sponsored by the Trust. His proximity to the mechanics of cinema production is a big asset for the Centre for Advanced Studies in ‘Performing Arts’ and ‘Cine Production’ in the proposed university.

Mr. Vishnu Manchu is also actively associated with the Dr. M. Mohan Babu Rural Health Scheme under which a comprehensive digital health database of the villages is maintained for effective use in monitoring the people’s health.

He is an avid lover of art and he established the Vishnu Manchu Art Foundation (VMAF) in 2009 to bridge the gap between artists and art lovers. VMAF helps amateur artists exhibit their works at the Annual Symposium. He is currently the President of Movie Artists Association (MAA).

It gives me immense joy as I look back in all humility, seeing an ambitious dream of our Chancellor Dr. M. Mohan Babu come true, with a gripping and innovative track record spread over three decades of academic excellence. We all have seen an incredible transformation of our efforts from a mere heap of stones and soil to a temple of learning. Efforts of the Sree Vidyanikethan Family over years are not an ordinary tale of just imparting education, but readying the industry-fit youth to face the world of corporates with its toughest challenges and evergreen opportunities.

We, at Mohan Babu University, are among the best and most highly reputed academic giants in the country. Now, we are the only private university in the Rayalaseema districts and south coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh. The cutting-edge infrastructure to pursue the kaleidoscopic vistas of technology and science; the presence of authoritative faculty in their respective fields; and our eternal commitment to give the best to the students are our infallible weapons.

As Pro-Chancellor, I do not doubt that the MBU is all set to make a definitive history in creating and safeguarding the highest values of education. Let our humble journey at Mohan Babu University lead us all to take a giant leap in the direction of an indomitable fortress of the right instruction and learning.
