Achieving Excellence in Healthcare

Allied and Health care professionals includes individuals involved with delivery of health or healthcare related services with qualification and competence in therapeutic, diagnosis, curative, preventive and rehabilitative interventions. They work in multidisciplinary health teams in varied healthcare settings.

Allied and health care professionals are primary care which refers to the work of health professionals who act as the first point of consultation for all the patients or clients within the health care system and such professionals would usually be primary care physicians, such as family physicians, a licensed independent practitioner such as a physiotherapist.

The School of Paramedical, Allied, and Health Care Sciences offers 14 undergraduate and 8 Postgraduate courses under various streams. Each of the programs is carefully designed to meet the needs of the ever-evolving paramedical field as well as the education standards benchmarked by the central council

Paramedical courses may be understood as medical training courses that are highly professional and career oriented. Being training- specific, these equip students for real-life medical situations that often entail emergency services as well. Over the years, the significance of paramedical courses has been realized with the increasing need for skilled paramedics.

To be the global center of excellence for paramedical and allied health science education, research, innovation, incubation, consultancy and public service.

Mission

  • Inspire the experts of paramedical and allied health sciences of tomorrow to take on the public health challenges of our society.
  • Train the students with fundamental knowledge of paramedical and allied health sciences, skills set and positive attitude for creating innovative solutions to serve industry and community through congenial learning environment with contemporary academic programs, state of the art infrastructure facilities and community health programs.
  • Facilitate budding paramedical and allied health science experts with the best research-innovation-incubation-start-up ecosystem to realize their fullest potential for sustainable businesses.
  • Encourage faculty and staff to excel in their respective domains of expertize and demonstrate the best of their abilities by way of continuing education, research support and consultancy.

Campus Infrastructure

Totally pollution free, the campus boasts of tree-lined walk-ways, spacious lawns and playing fields, a well designed amphitheater, well-equipped LCD projector classrooms and office. The world-class infrastructure includes a modern auditorium, a well stocked library and computer centre with internet through providing E-Library, executive dining hall/mess, and canteen, banking and bus services to other areas.



IT Infrastructure

University has been networked for total connectivity. The campus has got fully operational high speed Wi-Fi Internet Connectivity. This facility rates among the best of B-Schools in the country. The facility helps students to interact online and view all the information online like grades, attendance, etc. Students can also download the handouts, lecture notes, power point presentations given by the faculty. Each classroom has been equipped with LCDs for effective learning sessions. All the systems are backed up for power through on-line UPS. The students and faculty at the School of Commerce and Management are provided with modern computing facilities.

Our Student and Faculty Achievements...

Both undergraduate and graduate programs of the school are delivered on-campus and by erudite faculty coming from diverse academic and professional backgrounds. All the undergraduate programs are spread across 4 years – out of which 3 years encompass academic study and 1 year is of the internship and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy for 4 years encompasses academic study and 6 months of Internship.
