Preferred Qualifications:
- M.Sc. (Agri.) with Ph.D. in the disciplines of Agronomy/Agri. Economics/Entomology/Genetics & Plant Breeding/ Horticulture/Soil Science/Agri. Extension/Agri. Microbiology &other allied subjects.
Essential requirement:
- M.Sc. (Agri.)/B.Sc.(Horti.) & M.Sc.(Agri.)/M.Sc.(Horti.) with good academic record in relevant subject with 1st class and Ph.D. in appropriate discipline.
- Post Ph.D. publications and guiding Ph.D. students is highly desirable. Minimum of 10 years Teaching / Research / Agriculture Extension experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
- If the experience in Research & Extension is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising / designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR / patents, etc.
