Job Description:
- Admission counsellors help students understand and easily navigate the complex process of applying for college admissions.
- The admission counsellor’s responsibilities involve guiding and supporting students through admission.
- They aid students in selecting the right colleges and universities for them, they also provide them with financial advice involved in the process.
- The admission counsellor involves reviewing applications and advising students on properly presenting themselves to the universities and colleges of interest.
- The admission counsellor role requires deep knowledge of the admission process and an understanding the requirements of college-level courses and degrees.
- Admission Counsellors contributes greatly in shaping the future of education for many students.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Application processing & Data Base Management
- Applicant evaluation
- Student Encouragement & Conducting orientation programs
- Spreading awareness of admission openings.
- Relationship management with Students & Universities.
- Counsel students and apprising them with the programmes
- Clarify questions pertaining to course, program selection and career planning
- Actively tracking and following up on prospective clues.
- Maintaining MIS reports
- Shall be doing Tele counselling, responsible for database management
- Generating the leads and follow-ups.
- Should be willing to travel
Qualifications:
A Minimum Qualification of +2 is required for an Admission Counsellor.
Experience Level:
1-4 Years of experience (Fresher’s with extraordinary counselling skills may be considered)
