The SCIENCE CLUB of MOHAN BABU UNIVERSITY organized a poster presentation on “Types of Paper and their uses in daily life” on 5th December, 2024 from 11 to 12 P.M at room no 504. The presentation aimed to explore the various types of papers we encounter in daily life, focusing on their uses, advantages, and disadvantages.
The event was conducted under the guidance and the consistent support of the event Coordinator Dr. G. Muni Hemlata whose expertise and dedication ensured a fruitful learning experience for all participants. The presentation was delivered by V. Barsha, student of B.Sc. Biotechnology Department, I Semester, Mohan Babu University. The event witnessed the active participation of around 50 students from the departments of B.Sc., Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Bioinformatics.
V. Himavarsha began the session by highlighting the pivotal role of papers in daily life, particularly for students. Papers serve multiple purposes, including writing, printing, cleaning, wrapping, and crafting. The speaker delved into the different types of papers, elaborating on their unique characteristics and specific uses. The speaker outlined the numerous benefits of paper, emphasizing its versatility and eco-friendly nature.
The presentation provided a comprehensive understanding of the different types of papers, their respective uses, and the associated environmental implications. Students gained valuable knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of paper usage, inspiring them to consider sustainable practices in their academic and personal lives.
