The Science Club of Mohan Babu University organized an event titled, “Guess the Scientist” on 14th February 2025 from 10 to 11.30 A.M at room no 325. The competition was designed to engage students in an interactive and enjoyable exploration of scientific history. The primary objective was to enhance their knowledge of renowned scientists and their contributions across various disciplines, fostering a deeper appreciation for the impact of scientific discoveries.
The event was diligently organized by the Faculty Coordinator, S. Vasiha Anjum. A total of 30 students actively participated in the competition.
The competition comprised three challenging and exciting rounds: Image Identification Round – Participants identified famous scientists from their images. Achievement-Based Clues Round – Scientists were described based on their major discoveries, and participants had to recognize them. The final round was the Rapid-Fire Round – A fast-paced session featuring quick questions about famous scientists and their contributions to science. The event was highly interactive, with students displaying immense enthusiasm, curiosity, and a strong competitive spirit. Winners were determined based on the accuracy and speed of their responses across all rounds.
The Guess the Scientist competition was a resounding success, fulfilling its objective of fostering scientific curiosity and appreciation among students. The engaging format ensured an educational yet fun experience, encouraging participants to learn more about scientific pioneers.
