The Rural Development Club of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at Mohan Babu University successfully organized an event titled “Challenges and Wisdom – Voices of Villagers” on 20th December 2024 from 3.30 to 4.30 P.M at Bandara palli village. This meaningful initiative aimed to create a bridge between generations by connecting university students with the villagers, fostering an enriching exchange of life experiences and insights.
The event was coordinated and organized under the expert guidance of Faculty Coordinator B Venkata Sai Thrinath (RDC – Faculty Coordinator) whose wholehearted support and guidance helped the participants to do their best. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 20 students who participated proactively and successfully interacted with the villagers and developed an effective communication and bonding.
The event was designed to provide villagers with a platform to share their life challenges, wisdom, and aspirations. Through open dialogue and storytelling, the villagers imparted valuable lessons from their lives, inspiring reflection and mutual learning among students and attendees. This initiative highlighted the resilience and strength of the villagers, shedding light on their enduring wisdom and aspirations for a brighter future. Villagers narrated their personal experiences, focusing on overcoming challenges, community values, and the importance of education and unity. Students had the opportunity to listen, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of rural life, bridging the gap between urban and rural perspectives. The event encouraged villagers to voice their dreams and concerns, creating a supportive and empowering environment
The event was well-received by both the villagers and the students. Participants praised the initiative for its innovative approach to fostering dialogue and understanding. The stories shared by the villagers left a lasting impression, inspiring students to value resilience, empathy, and community spirit.
