The Rural Development Club (RDC) from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mohan Babu University, conducted an event titled “Christmas Crafty Crew” on 22nd December 2024 from 11.30 to 12.30 P.M in the picturesque village of Bandara palli. The event was themed “Celebrating the Joy and Creativity of Christmas” and aimed to inspire creativity and craftsmanship among students while fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation.
The event was coordinated by a dedicated team of three students, comprising second- and fourth-year students, under the expert guidance of the faculty coordinator, B. Venkata Sai Thrinath (Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department).
The activity witnessed the enthusiastic participation of villagers and 20 students, supported by a dedicated team of coordinators. Participants engaged in crafting handmade decorations, designing greeting cards, and creating unique Christmas gifts inspired by the festive season. The activities not only encouraged creativity but also promoted the values of teamwork, cultural appreciation, and community bonding. The vibrant and fun-filled atmosphere left a lasting impression on the participants and the residents of Bandara palli village, adding a memorable touch to their Christmas celebrations.
The event was a resounding success, fostering creativity and holiday cheer among the students and the village residents. It showcased the artistic talents of the participants while strengthening the bond between the university and the rural community. The enthusiastic participation and collaborative efforts ensured the event left a positive and lasting impact.
