In observance of the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, the Young Caliber Club organized a meaningful program titled “Rise Above Poverty: A Call for Change” at Z.P. High School, Chandragiri. This impactful event aimed to educate students about the pressing issue of poverty, its profound impact on national development, and actionable ways to address it.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
- Impact on Development: The coordinators discussed how poverty hinders a nation’s progress in multiple sectors, including Education, Healthcare, and Infrastructure, Drawing a vivid connection between poverty and its far-reaching consequences on society as a whole.
- Understanding Root Causes: The session delved into the root causes of poverty, identifying factors such as limited access to quality education, healthcare, and economic opportunities, as well as the effects of social inequality and discrimination.
- Pathways to Eradicating Poverty: The program offered insights into effective solutions for poverty alleviation.
