The Readers Club of the School of Commerce and Management at Mohan Babu University organized an event titled “Abhyasanam – The Best Book Reviewers” on 19th February 2025 from 2 to 4 P.M at Room no 4114. The event aimed to foster intellectual discussions, encourage analytical thinking, and enhance students’ appreciation for literature, moral values, and philosophical wisdom.
The event was coordinated and organized by the faculty coordinator Dr. Dasari Rajesh Babu, Associate Professor, School of Commerce & Management. A total of 50 students actively participated in the event. “Exploring Wisdom Through Books- ‘Abhyasanam’ – The Best Book Reviewers at Mohan Babu University”.
The event featured PPT presentations that explored ancient scriptures, ethical philosophies, and motivational lessons, offering deep insights into timeless wisdom. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing their analytical skills and eloquence in presenting complex concepts in an engaging manner. with 10 students delivering insightful presentations on various topics. Among these, three students stood out for their exceptional presentations on Upanishads, moral values, and motivation. The winners of the event were: Ms. Varsha, Ms. Harshitha (B. Com), BBA First-Year Student. Their presentation titled ‘Upanishads’ was particularly appreciated for its depth and clarity. The event concluded on a high note with the winners being congratulated and all participants being acknowledged for their commendable efforts. The event successfully achieved its objective of promoting the culture of reading, critical thinking, and intellectual discourse among students. The event provided a platform for students to articulate their thoughts, refine their presentation skills, and engage in meaningful discussions.
Faculty coordinators extended their heartfelt appreciation to the student coordinators for their dedicated efforts in organizing the event seamlessly. The Readers Club looks forward to organizing more such engaging and enlightening events in the future, inspiring students to explore the vast world of knowledge and wisdom.
