One Day Workshop on “Entropy & Its Applications in Data Science”

In collaboration with the IEEE Information Theory Society Student Chapter and CETA, the BRAIN MASTERS CLUB from the Department of CSE, Mohan Babu University, successfully hosted an insightful One Day Workshop on “Entropy & Its Applications in Data Science” on 26th September 2024. The event was designed exclusively for V Semester CSE students, drawing the interest and participation of 65 students. The workshop provided a unique opportunity to explore entropy, a fundamental concept in information theory, and its pivotal role in tackling real-world data science problems. Spanning both theoretical and practical domains, this session equipped participants with essential knowledge and hands-on experience in algorithms that incorporate entropy for machine learning, data analytics, and decision-making process.
