The MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Mohan Babu University organized a special event on the occasion of the “International Day of Education” on 24th January 2025 from 11 A.M to 12.30 P.M at Room no 2403. The event, conducted under the Nutrition and Dietetics Club, embraced the theme “To Invest in People, Prioritize Education”. The event aimed to highlighting the transformative power of education in shaping societies and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
The event was successfully organized under the leadership of Dr. Hari V, from the Department of Pharmacology. His coordination, along with support from faculty members and students, ensured the smooth execution of the program. The event witnessed active involvement, with 86 students and 8 faculty members participating. Their engagement reflected a keen interest in exploring innovative approaches to education and understanding its broader societal impact
The program commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Vema Kiran, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics, MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of education in fostering innovation, social progress, and economic development. This was followed by an insightful knowledge session featuring esteemed speakers from the MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences: Dr. Uday Kumar, Associate Professor, Dr. S. Prasanthi, Associate Professor. The session covered a range of compelling topics, including: “New initiatives for promoting girls’ education in underserved regions”, “Innovations in e-learning platforms and their role in bridging the digital divide” and “The role of education in ensuring equal opportunities and social upliftment”. The discussions sparked enthusiastic engagement among attendees, fostering a deeper understanding of how education can serve as a catalyst for positive change.
