The Management Club of Mohan Babu University with the collaboration of School of Commerce and Management organized a TED Talk-style Event on 27th December 2024 from 11 to 12 P.M at NAB LAB. The objective of the session was to providing an excellent platform for students to present their insights and ideas on diverse and impactful topics. This event showcased the creativity, intellect, and enthusiasm of the participants and sparked meaningful discussions among the audience.
The event was conducted by the event Coordinator Dr. L. Kuldeep Kumar (Associate Professor of the Department of Commerce and Management) whose wholehearted support and guidance helped the participants to do their best. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 45 students who actively engaged in productive discussions session, presentations.
Ms. Yashawini. S delivered an insightful discussion on the revolutionary potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI). She explored its ethical implications, transformative capabilities, and current applications across various industries. A central theme of her talk was the balance between leveraging AI to advance society and addressing the challenges it presents. The second participant Ms. Ameera captivated the audience with her views on Industry 5.0, the next wave of industrial revolution marked by human-machine collaboration. She highlighted the era’s emphasis on sustainability, personalization, and cutting-edge technologies like IoT and AI, while stressing the importance of innovation and adaptability in the workplace. The third speaker Mubarak’s presentation focused on time management, a vital skill for personal and professional success. He shared practical tips such as prioritizing tasks, eliminating distractions, and using organizational tools. His anecdotes and advice inspired the audience to manage their time efficiently and achieve their goals.
The fourth speaker Mr. Masood reflected on universal life lessons, emphasizing resilience, adaptability, and learning from failures. Drawing from personal experiences, he encouraged the audience to view challenges as opportunities for growth and personal development. The final speaker Ms. Chandana addressed critical issues related to women’s insecurities in both personal and professional spheres. She spoke passionately about workplace discrimination, body image concerns, and societal expectations. Her call for empowerment and self-acceptance deeply resonated with the audience, fostering meaningful discussions.
The TED Talk event provided a platform for students to share their innovative ideas and unique perspectives while offering the audience an enriching and thought-provoking experience. Each speaker brought a distinct topic and delivery style, ensuring a dynamic and educational session for all attendees.
The Management Club remains committed to fostering intellectual curiosity and plans to organize more events like this to encourage knowledge sharing and inspire students to explore diverse topics.
