FYE Club Engaging Event, “Guess the Actor Based on Mannerisms”

The FYE Club of Mohan Babu University with the collaboration of the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering organized an event titled “Guess the Actor Based on Mannerisms” for II B.Tech students on 20.1.2025 from 2 to 4 P.M at East Block room no 229. The event took place in a fun-filled and energetic atmosphere, promoting active participation and quick thinking. The objectives of the event were to help participants recognizing and appreciate the unique body language and mannerisms of famous actors and to create a dynamic and participatory learning environment where students actively engage and guess the actor’s identity.

The event was successfully organized under the guidance of Mrs. Chekuri Nalini, Coordinator, and Dr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Head of the Department, ECE. Their efforts were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the program. The event witnessed the active participation of 36 students.

  The event revolved around the art of acting, focusing on body language, gestures, and the unique mannerisms that actors use to create a memorable presence on-screen. It highlighted the significance of non-verbal cues in storytelling and media. Participants were encouraged to identify actors based on their distinctive mannerisms, fostering a sense of involvement and enthusiasm. The event not only entertained but also served as a platform for students to develop observation skills and an understanding of how body language contributes to character portrayal in film and media. The event showcased the talents and observational abilities of the participants. It fostered teamwork, collaboration, and communication among attendees. Participants enhanced their learning and gained a deeper appreciation for the nuances of acting.

The activity raised awareness and interest in acting as an art form, promoting critical thinking about non-verbal communication. This event was a resounding success, leaving participants entertained, engaged, and enriched with new insights into the fascinating world of acting and mannerisms.
