The Cosmetics Club of Mohan Babu University in collaboration with MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, organized a special program on “National Girl Child Day” on 27th January 2025 from 10 to 12 .30 P.M. at room no 4201. The event aimed to raise awareness about the rights of the girl child and address crucial issues such as gender inequality, education, and health.
Conducted and coordinated by Dr. Mounika, Department of Pharmacy practice, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 25 students all of whom actively engaged in discussions and activities. The initiative provided a platform for students to voice their opinions and foster a sense of responsibility toward ensuring the well-being and rights of the girl child.
The event commenced with a warm welcome address, setting the stage for an insightful and thought-provoking session. The central theme revolved around empowering young girls, fostering equality, and promoting their right to education and healthcare. Students passionately delivered speeches emphasizing the importance of education, gender equality, and societal support for girls. Their words resonated deeply with the audience, fostering a sense of awareness and responsibility. To enhance engagement and impact, students utilized diagrammatic charts to illustrate statistical data, key challenges, and progressive solutions regarding the welfare of the girl child. These visual aids effectively conveyed messages and encouraged an interactive discussion. The session facilitated an open dialogue where participants shared their perspectives, experiences, and ideas on how to contribute to a more inclusive and empowering environment for young girls.
