The Coding Club of Mohan Babu University successfully organized a workshop titled “Java Kingdom” on 4th January 2025 from 9.30 to 5 P.M at Room no 605, 609 and 700. This workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Java programming and its applications, helping students build a strong foundation in coding.
The event was meticulously planned and executed by a dynamic team of enthusiastic organizers: Gowri Shankar, Pavan, Vamsi Sanjeev, Santhoshini, Uzma Anjum and the Team. The Workshop witnessed the participation of 300 students from the diverse field.
Senior students took the lead as mentors, guiding participants through fundamental Java concepts, ensuring an engaging and hands-on learning experience. The workshop covered a broad spectrum of Java programming fundamentals, including: –
Participants had the opportunity to apply their learning in real-time through hands-on coding exercises. The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation, problem-solving, and peer discussions, making it an enriching and immersive experience for all attendees. Participants were introduced to the core concepts of Java, including its history, features, and real-world applications. They explored why Java is widely used in software development, web applications, mobile applications, and enterprise solutions. The workshop explained primitive and non-primitive data types in Java, such as integers, floats, characters, and strings. Type casting, which allows converting one data type into another (implicit and explicit casting), was also covered with examples.
The Java Kingdom Workshop was a resounding success, providing students with valuable insights into Java programming while enhancing their coding confidence and problem-solving skills. The active participation of 300 attendees reflected their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
