The CAMS Club of Mohan Babu University organized an event titled, “Thinking in Proverbs: Bridging Tradition and Innovation” on 24th January, 2025 from 2 to 4 P.M at Room no 2802, offering mechanical engineering students, a unique opportunity to enhance their problem-solving abilities by merging ancient wisdom with modern challenges. The program aimed to foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills that are essential for engineering professionals.
The event was conducted and coordinated under the guidance of the Faculty Coordinator: Dr. K. Lakshmi Kala (Esteemed professor of the department of Mechanical Engineering and her beloved student Mr. Sasidhar (IV Year Mechanical Engineering) extended his support to the participants. 20 students from the Mechanical Engineering department participated in the activity.
By drawing parallels between timeless proverbs and contemporary engineering problems, students were encouraged to think innovatively and apply traditional values to modern-day challenges. The activity’s goal was to help students develop the necessary decision-making skills while sharpening their ability to think critically about real-world issues. This blend of tradition and innovation not only provided an engaging learning experience but also served as a bridge to connect the past with the present in the context of engineering. The program was designed to enhance students’ communication and creative thinking abilities, making it an enriching experience that was both enjoyable and impactful.
The event concluded successfully, with positive feedback from participants who expressed how the activity helped them see the value of integrating traditional wisdom into engineering problem-solving.
