Automotive Club Insightful Event, “Hybrid And Electrical Vehicles”

January 23

The Automotive Club at Mohan Babu University organized an event titled “Hybrid and Electrical Vehicles” on 23rd January 2025 from 10.45 A.M to 11.30 A.M at the CAM LAB. The primary objective of this event was to assess and enhance participants’ knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicle components, functions, and principles.

The event was coordinated and conducted by the faculty coordinator, M. Ramesh Naik (Mechanical Engineering, Polytechnic). The event attracted 32 students, divided into 8 batches, who actively participated in a series of challenging rounds designed to test their understanding of modern automotive technologies.

The competition was structured into two rounds, each focusing on different aspects of hybrid and electrical vehicle knowledge. In the First round, participants were shown images of various components used in hybrid and electric vehicles. They were required to correctly identify the components and explain their functions. This round tested both theoretical knowledge and visual recognition skills of the participants. The second round required participants to provide precise and detailed answers to technical questions without any external aids. This round was designed to evaluate their conceptual understanding and ability to recall crucial information under time constraints. Following the two rounds of rigorous competition, the top two batches were identified based on their performance and were awarded the titles of Winner and Runner-up of the event. The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge and sharpen their analytical skills related to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.

The “Hybrid and Electrical Vehicles” event was a resounding success, fostering enthusiasm and curiosity among students regarding the advancements in automotive technology. The event not only provided an opportunity for learning but also encouraged healthy competition among participants.

The Automotive Club extends its gratitude to all participants and organizers, especially M. Ramesh Naik, for his dedication and effort in making this event a grand success.
