The Inaugural Function of the MBU IEEE Student Branch and the Launch of IEEE Technical Societies took place in a grand ceremony at Mohan Babu University (MBU), marking an important milestone for the university’s technical and academic community.

Dr. B. Hemanth Kumar, IEEE Student Branch Counselor (SBC) at MBU, delivered the welcome address. He extended his heartfelt greetings to the guests and participants, and emphasized the significance of establishing the IEEE Student Branch in fostering technical excellence among students.
Address by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, MBU, Prof. Nagaraj Ramrao, in his inaugural address, highlighted the importance of IEEE in shaping the future of engineering and technology. He expressed pride in MBU becoming part of the IEEE network and encouraged students to actively participate in the branch’s activities.
Address by Executive Director, MBU, Mr. Vinay Maheshwari congratulated the faculty and students for the successful establishment of the IEEE Student Branch. He stressed on the importance of innovation and collaboration in today’s academic and professional landscape.

Address by Dr. Rajashree Jain, Vice Chair – Membership Development, IEEE India Section, spoke about the benefits of IEEE membership, particularly focusing on opportunities for professional development, networking, and engagement with global IEEE initiatives. She also shared insights on various IEEE programs and how students could benefit from participating in them.
Address by Dr. Y. Vijayalata, Treasurer, IEEE India Section & Chair, Hyderabad Section, congratulated MBU on launching the IEEE Student Branch and the formation of technical societies.
