On October 25, 2024, the Tree Appreciation Club at Mohan Babu University hosted a captivating educational session titled, “An Educational Session on Identifying local Tree species for Social utilization.” in Rami Reddipallia. The event centred around the identification and social utility of local tree species. During this enriching experience, participants discovered the unique qualities and community benefits of indigenous trees such as Tamarind, Neem, Teak and more.Each species was explored in-depth, showcasing its ecological role and various applications, from medicinal uses to enhancing biodiversity. The session aimed to foster a deep appreciation for the local flora, encouraging sustainable practices and greater environmental stewardship within the community. This engaging and informative event not only highlighted the natural heritage of our region but also inspired attendees to actively contribute to environmental preservation efforts.
