Established in 2011, the Department of Mechanical Engineering began with a B.Tech. program admitting 60 students, later expanded to accommodate 180. Accredited by NBA, our B.Tech program has earned recognition as one of the premier Mechanical Engineering programs in South India. With 15 academic laboratories and a Micromachining research center, equipped with cutting-edge scientific instruments and machinery, our department is committed to providing a top-tier educational experience. Collaborating with APSSDC-Siemens, APSSDC-Dassault Systems, and APSSDC-Robotics, we’ve established eight skill development laboratories, enhancing hands-on learning and industry readiness.

B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering, a four-year undergraduate program, equips the students with sound knowledge of theoretical and practical experiences in the core subjects of Mechanical Engineering such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and allied areas.
