B. Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a four-year professional program leading to Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduation. This is contrived contemporarily in line with the outcome-based approach.

The program of study comprises expansive knowledge in the areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering such as Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Control and Automation, Power Electronics and Drives, Electronic Devices & Systems, and the application of soft computing techniques such as AI and Machine Learning.

The program focuses on a student-oriented learning approach through classroom study, industry-based internships, and project-work in core and advanced courses. Also, the curriculum includes program core, professional electives, interdisciplinary electives, open electives, MOOC courses, value-added/skill-based courses, and experience learning through industrial and field visits. The Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduates are responsible for planning, developing/designing reliable power system networks, sustainable machines, insulation systems, efficient energy harvesting techniques, efficient converter topologies, operation & troubleshooting of electrical equipment/machinery.

Eligibility for Admission

A candidate seeking admission into the First Year of four-year B.Tech. Degree Program should have

Cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% and above in aggregate & 60% and above in group subjects (Mathematics Physics and Chemistry).

Complete the MBUCET (MB University Common Entrance Examination) / JEE-Main/JEE-Advanced / State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports/Cultural Activities.

On successful completion of the Program, the graduates of B. Tech. (EEE) program will be able to:

BTech Electrical Engineering program exposes a student to various career options. BTech Electrical Engineering students have excellent demands in the market.
