B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year professional program leading to a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering. The program emphasizes acquiring knowledge and industry relevant skills on computing systems and developing software through experiential learning.

The curriculum of B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering includes very interesting topics revolving around Computer Programming and Networking. Topics are majorly connected to algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, computer hardware, computer software, etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications.

The program focuses on a student-centred learning approach through classroom study, industry-based internships, and project-work in core and advanced courses. Few of the Core subjects include Computer Organization, Algorithm Development, Contemporary Programming Languages, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Networks, Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mobile Application Development, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and courses in cutting-edge technologies are offered in the program. The first batch graduated in June, 2000. University is thrice accredited by NBA.

Eligibility for Admission

A candidate seeking admission into the First Year of four-year B.Tech. Degree Program should have

Cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination with 60% and above in aggregate & 60% and above in group subjects (Mathematics Physics and Chemistry).

Complete the MBUCET (MB University Common Entrance Examination) / JEE-Main/JEE-Advanced / State Level Engineering Entrance Exams across India including EAMCET and Merit in Sports/Cultural Activities.

Program Outcome

On successful completion of the Program, the graduates of B. Tech. (CSE) program will be able to:

PSO1. Apply knowledge of computer science engineering, Use modern tools, techniques and technologies for efficient design and development of computer-based systems for complex engineering problems.

PSO2. Design and deploy networked systems using standards and principles, evaluate security measures for complex networks, apply procedures and tools to solve networking issues.

PSO3. Develop intelligent systems by applying adaptive algorithms and methodologies for solving problems from inter-disciplinary domains.

PSO4. Apply suitable models, tools and techniques to perform data analytics for effective decision making.
