On successful completion of the Program, the graduates of B. Tech. CE with Specialization in Geotechnical and Transportation Engineering program will be able to:
PSO1. Identify minerals, rocks, structural geology problems and understand geological maps; characterize soils, rocks, geomaterials and site; choose and design foundations, earth retaining structures; select ground improvement techniques; perform geotechnical risk assessment; solve geoenvironmental problems.
PSO2. Identify traffic problems; perform traffic studies; solve and manage traffic problems; plan, analyse, design, construct, valuate, manage, maintain, retrofit and rehabilitate transport systems.
PSO3. Perform land survey; analyze water and wastewater; manage solid waste; plan, draw, analyze, design, construct, valuate, manage, maintain, retrofit and rehabilitate civil engineering systems and processes viz. structural, water resources, environmental by applying suitable materials, tools and techniques.
