On the occasion of World Alzheimer’s Day 2024, the Cosmetic Club of MB School of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized an “E-Poster Presentation”, bringing together students from various years to engage in raising awareness about one of the most pressing neurological disorder called, Alzheimer’s disease.
This year’s theme, “Know Dementia, Know Alzheimer’s,” served as a powerful reminder of the need for enhanced understanding and early diagnosis of these cognitive disorders, which affect millions globally.
Students from B. Pharmacy IV year, PharmD V year, and III B. Pharmacy classes proactively participated in the event, presented an insightful and well-researched e-posters that explored a wide range of topics related to dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. The presentations covered areas such as Early warning Signs, —Preventive Strategies, the role of care givers, and the latest advancements in Alzheimer’s research and treatment.
The event was a grand success under the competent leadership of Mrs. Shaik Mubeena and Dr. J. Venkateswara Rao.
