The Readers’ Club at the School of Computing, Mohan Babu University, organized an engaging “Book Club Meetup” on February 20, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, at Room No. 2702. The event aimed to foster critical thinking, enhance communication skills, and provide a platform for students to express and defend their viewpoints on a given book.
The event was coordinated and organized by the faculty Coordinator; Yadav Balaji Rao (esteemed professor of the Department of Computer Application) 30 enthusiastic students participated the event.
The Book Club Meetup was an intellectually stimulating session where participants gathered to discuss a pre-selected book. The event facilitated thought-provoking conversations, enabling students to explore various literary genres, reflect on key themes, and share their unique interpretations. Faculty members also actively contributed, offering insightful perspectives to deepen the discussion and broaden the participants’ understanding. This collaborative exchange of ideas encouraged students to develop analytical skills, embrace diverse viewpoints, and cultivate intellectual curiosity. Students engaged in deep discussions, critically analysing the book’s themes and relevance.
