The IETE Student Forum (ISF) at Mohan Babu University organized an intellectually stimulating event titled, “Pod Cast 98.5” on the 6th of February 2025 from 10 to 12 P.M at Room no 102. The event aimed to fostering team-building skills and enhancing auditory recall abilities through a series of engaging challenges. The dynamic sessions of “Morse Code Mystery and Hear & Recall “created an immersive experience, encouraging collaboration, quick thinking, and effective communication among participants. The primary goal of Pod Cast 98.5 was to cultivate teamwork, active listening, and cognitive recall among students. Through its structured rounds, the event enabled participants to sharpen their analytical skills, interpret Morse code, and enhance their ability to process and remember auditory information.
The event was meticulously planned and executed under the guidance of: Dr. T. V. V. Satyanarayana and Dr. N. Sudhakar Reddy (Coordinator). Their expertise and dedication played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the event, making it an enriching experience for all attendees. A total of 49 participants took part in the event, showcasing their enthusiasm and determination in overcoming the challenges. The event witnessed a high level of engagement, with students actively participating and demonstrating their skills in communication and problem-solving. Their expertise and dedication played a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the event, making it an enriching experience for all attendees.
The competition featured two distinct and captivating rounds: Morse Code Mystery: This round tested the participants’ ability to decipher and interpret messages transmitted via Morse code, challenging their analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Hear & Recall: Participants were exposed to various audio clips, requiring them to listen attentively and accurately recall key details. This round emphasized the importance of active listening and memory retention. The engaging nature of the challenges encouraged enthusiasm, teamwork, and friendly competition, fostering an environment of learning and camaraderie.
Pod Cast 98.5 proved to be a resounding success, effectively meeting its objectives of fostering teamwork, enhancing listening skills, and promoting collaborative learning. The event not only provided a platform for students to test their cognitive abilities but also strengthened their interpersonal skills through engaging and interactive challenges. The enthusiasm and active participation of the students underscored the effectiveness and impact of the event, leaving a lasting impression on all involved.
