The Nutrition and Dietetics Club, under the aegis of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Mohan Babu University, organized an awareness program on the occasion of World Leprosy Day on 31st January 2025 from 2 to 3.30 P.M. The event aimed to educate students and faculty members about leprosy, its prevention, and control measures, fostering a sense of social responsibility towards public health.
The session was conducted by the faculty organizer, Dr. V. Hari (Associate Professor of M B School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The event witnessed active participation from the attendees, who engaged in discussions and queries regarding leprosy and its eradication. The event saw enthusiastic participation, with a total of 48 students. Their involvement contributed significantly to making the session interactive and insightful. The session commenced with an introductory speech delivered by Dr. Hema Latha V, from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, M B School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
