The Rural Development Club (RDC) of Mohan Babu University organized an event titled “Whisper Chain” on 18th January 2025 from 11.30 to 12.30 P.M at Room No 2406. This event was designed to emphasize the importance of effective communication and teamwork while fostering a spirit of collaboration and trust among the participants. The event aimed to highlight the significance of accuracy and clarity in communication while encouraging participants to develop skills such as active listening, building trust, and eliminating gaps in communication.
The session was coordinated under the consistent support and the guidance of the Faculty Advisor B V Sai Thrinath – (RDC – Faculty Co-ordinator). The activity saw 35 enthusiastic participants engaging in a fun yet thought-provoking game of passing information through a “whisper chain.”
The process involved transmitting a message through three individuals, demonstrating how minor misinterpretations could lead to significant changes in the final message.
The session was guided by three student coordinators who shared insights on the importance of precise communication and teamwork in achieving common goals. The participants were actively involved, and the event concluded with valuable lessons on strengthening collaboration within teams.
The “Whisper Chain” activity effectively demonstrated the power of clear communication and its role in fostering successful teamwork. The Rural Development Club (RDC) extends its gratitude to all the participants and coordinators for their active involvement, making the event a grand success.
