The CAD Club of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Mohan Babu University organized an insightful session titled, “MATLAB for Mechanical Engineers” on 23rd January 2025 from 10.30 P.M to 12.30 P.M at MATLAB. The activity aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of MATLAB and its diverse applications in addressing complex mechanical engineering challenges.
The event was meticulously organized under the consistent support and the guidance of the Faculty Advisor Dr. S. Laxmi Narayana (Associate professor of the Department of ME Engineering Department). Under the expert guidance of the coordinator, the session emphasized bridging the gap between academic learning and industrial requirements. 33 enthusiastic participants from the diverse backgrounds attended the session.
The interactive format allowed students to delve deeper into MATLAB’s capabilities, enabling them to better understand its role in solving mechanical engineering problems effectively and efficiently. The event received positive feedback, with participants appreciating the practical knowledge gained and expressing interest in more such initiatives. The CAD Club remains committed to providing students with platforms to hone their skills, preparing them for the challenges of a dynamic professional environment.
The session provided an invaluable opportunity for students to explore the practical applications of MATLAB in fields such as modelling, simulation, and data analysis. Through hands-on examples and real-world case studies, the event aimed to enhance students’ computational and analytical abilities, fostering technical proficiency essential for industry demands.
The event Coordinator thanked the participants for their proactive engagement associated with the session. It was no doubt very enriching session for the students. It not only fostered their technical skills, bot also developed students Teamwork skills.
