The Reader’s Club of Mohan Babu University organized an event titled, “READ ME”, on January 3rd, 2025 from 2 to 3 P.M at Room no 230. The event aimed to promote a culture of reading, foster critical thinking, and build a community of avid readers. This activity served as a platform for book enthusiasts to delve into the world of literature, creativity, and intellectual exploration.
The event was meticulously organized by Ms. N. Harathi (Assistant Professor of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering), who ensured the activity’s smooth execution and facilitated an enriching learning experience. A total of 36 enthusiastic students participated in the event, engaging in discussions and fostered the culture of reading Books.
Participants explored featured books from diverse genres, engaging in lively and thought-provoking discussions. Themes ranged from contemporary issues to timeless classics, sparking a rich exchange of ideas. A special segment featured interactions with authors, offering attendees an exclusive glimpse into the writing process, the challenges faced, and the inspiration behind their works. Participants shared reviews of their favourite books, providing insights into plotlines, themes, and character development. Attendees participated in guided writing exercises, igniting their imagination and honing their literary skills. Enthusiastic members tested their knowledge of literature, adding an element of fun and competition. The event fostered a vibrant community of readers by encouraging attendees to share book recommendations, discuss their literary journeys, and exchange ideas in a friendly and supportive environment.
The READ ME event concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired and motivated to explore new literary horizons. The event not only enhanced the appreciation for reading but also strengthened the bonds within the Reader’s Club community.
