January 9

The Science Club of Mohan Babu University organized an event titled, “DIY Science Inventions”, on January 9, 2025 from 12 to 1 P.M at MNS Block, Room No 503.  The event aimed to nurture practical learning, encouraging students to explore and experiment with their innovative ideas. This event served as an exceptional platform for students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and scientific aptitude. Through a wide range of hands-on projects, participants demonstrated their ability to address real-world problems by applying scientific principles.

The event was conducted and coordinated by the Faculty Coordinator Ms. S Vasiha Anjum (Assistant Professor of the Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences) whose wholehearted support and guidance helped the participants to do their best. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 15 students who actively engaged in discussions, presentations, and interactive activities.

Students presented a sustainable approach to agriculture, highlighting innovative techniques for cultivating crops without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. The project emphasized eco-friendly practices, soil health, and biodiversity, showcasing a greener path to sustainable farming. The second one was a visually captivating project where students demonstrated the working of a volcanic lamp using basic chemical principles. This creation seamlessly blended artistic design with scientific phenomena, mesmerizing the audience with its lava-like effects. A team of students developed a cost-effective and efficient fumigation device aimed at improving sanitation and curbing the spread of infectious diseases. This project exemplified the students’ dedication to addressing public health challenges through innovative solutions.
