IMAC Club of Mohan Babu University conducted a Debate Competition on 11th December 2024 from 4.45 to 5.45 P.M at Room no 4204, NAB Block. The main objective of the event was to foster critical thinking by encouraging participants to analyze issues deeply, enhance public speaking skills and build confidence in expressing ideas effectively, promote logical reasoning and the art of persuasion.
The event was coordinated and organized by the Faculty Coordinator Mr. Syed Faruk (Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Application) whose wholehearted support and guidance helped the participants to do their best. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with 40 students who actively engaged in discussions, presentations, and interactive activities.
Through this dynamic exchange of ideas, participants raised awareness about significant societal issues while cultivating essential skills that contribute to intellectual and personal growth. participants delved into structured discussions, presenting well-researched arguments. This initiative not only allowed participants to dive deeper into creative thinking skills but also honed their critical thinking, presentation skills and elevated their confidence.
The Department appreciated the efforts of all participants and looks forward to organizing similar events to inspire and empower students in their academic and personal growth.
