The “Farm Machinery Club” of Mohan Babu University organized a highly practical session on “Tractor Hitching with Secondary Tillage Implements” on 28th November, 2024 from 2.30 P.M to 3.30 P.M at Farm Machinery Lab. The session aimed to providing students with an invaluable hands-on learning experience in operating essential farm machinery.
The event was conducted under the competent guidance of Dr. Gorla Gayathri, event Coordinator of Farm Machinery Club whose expertise and dedication ensured a fruitful Hands- on learning experience for all
During the session, participants were guided through the correct techniques for attaching implements such as harrows and rotavators using the three-point linkage system. Emphasis was placed on achieving proper alignment, accurate depth adjustments, and adhering to vital safety measures during field operations.
The Activity Session witnessed the active participation of 20 enthusiastic students along with the Club Coordinators and the Faculties. Their participation highlighted their higher enthusiasm acquiring knowledge
This experiential learning activity not only empowered students to enhance confidence in handling and operating secondary tillage implements but also it developed critical problem-solving and machinery management skills.
