B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security) is a Four-year professional program leading to a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in Cyber Security. The program emphasizes acquiring knowledge and contemporary skills on computing systems and developing software through Experiential learning relevant to the domain of Cyber Security. The program focuses on a student-centric learning approach through classroom study, Industry-based Internships, and Project-Work in core and advanced courses. The courses offered in the program includes the Core subjects of Computer Science and specialized in subjects in Cyber Security like Cryptography & Information Security, Digital Forensics, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Physical Systems, Cyber Threat and Modelling, Vulnerability and Malware Analysis, Penetration Testing, and courses in cutting-edge technologies. The program started in the year July, 2021.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

After few years of graduation, the graduates of B.Tech. CSE (DS) will be:
PEO1. Pursuing higher studies in core, specialized or allied areas of Computer Science, or Management.
PEO2. Employed in reputed Computer and I.T organizations or Government to have a globally competent professional career in Computer Science and Engineering domain or be successful Entrepreneurs.
PEO3. Able to demonstrate effective communication, engage in teamwork, exhibit leadership skills and ethical attitude, and achieve professional advancement through continuing education.

On successful completion of the Program, the graduates of B. Tech. CSE (DS) program will be able to:
PSO1. Design, implement and evaluate a security system to identify, prevent and protect from vulnerabilities and cyber attacks.
PSO2. Develop solutions using Computer Science and Cyber Security Tools and Techniques to address societal issues.
PSO3. Design and Develop algorithms and applications using modern tools, technologies and platforms to solve real-time problems.
PSO4. Apply database tools and techniques to store, process, retrieval of data and perform data analytics.
